Vacation and Holidays

Troopers accrue 12 days of vacation during their first year of service. Every Trooper also receives a total of 12 paid holidays per year.

Maternity & Family Leave

Under federal law, all eligible employees can take up to 12 weeks of job-protected leave beginning January 1 through December 31 of an annual calendar year.

Paid Overtime, Compensatory Time, and Detail Opportunities

Extra duty detail shifts and overtime opportunities are regularly available.

The detail pay rate is approximately $60.00/hour.
